The Veri-te™ Stand
We’re just back from VitaFoods Europe, the leading nutraceuticals event in Europe. It was a packed three days showcasing the new Veri-te™ brand, raising awareness of resveratrol and meeting customers on our stand. We had a great response to our booth graphics and the stand really stood out as you walked down the aisle. We have come away with plenty of interesting potential business and research opportunities to keep us very busy with follow up the next few weeks.
This year we featured our sample chocolate with resveratrol product on the Tasting Bar. We didn’t win the vote for best tasting food (a granola bar did) but our chocolate was so popular as they ran out of our samples and had to ask for more. Close to 2,000 samples were consumed over the three days!
New Ingredients Zone
Our Veri-te™ resveratrol was showcased in the New Ingredients Zone this year and this really drove traffic to our stand.
Veri-te™ generated lots of PR!
– We made the New Hope Network’s list of ’10 ingredients companies to visit at Vitafoods’.
– VitaFoods Insight digital magazine -whats-hot: Veri-te appears in the What’s Hot list (page 53).
– Anti-aging dossier Actif’s 58: Clare Panchoo from our Veri-te Commercial Team was interviewed for an article featuring in Actif Magazine’s Anti-Ageing and VitaFoods edition.
– Food Ingredients 1st: Lucy Gunn from Food Ingredients 1st contacted us to shoot a video interview at our stand during the show which will feature on their website in the coming weeks.
NutraIngredients Awards Dinner
As sponsors of this years Awards we were invited to the Awards Dinner where the Winners are announced. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and the food was delicious. Congratulations to two of the evening’s winners who were on our table – a FODMAP bread by Fazer (Healthy Food of the Year) and BioAnalyst’s Portable Nutrient Testing (Personalized Nutrition Product of the Year). It was a very successful night for resveratrol being included in the formulation of two category winners’ products. We bumped into Mark Blumenthal there, the Founder and Executive Director of the American Botanical Council. He’s a hoot!
